There is no need to buy large or small copper battery cable lugs (2 GA / 4 GA) for ridiculous sums of money, when you can make them at a fraction of the cost. You can save 90-95% if you make them yourself. It only takes 2 minutes. You can crimp them onto the wire, or even better, solder them. Find out how in the video. You can also easily tin them for extra corrosion resistance before soldering them onto the wire. Regular copper works just fine compared to more expensive copper alloys. I live right on the ocean, and years of salt air have not ruined any of my connectors.
