For most golfers, scoring an eagle in a round of golf would have meant some pretty impressive gameplay – scoring two strokes under par for a particular hole.
But for one man playing golf in Washington State, an ‘eagle’ took on a whole different meaning.
Joe Saletto was on the 12th hole of North Bellingham Golf Course and about to get his putter out when a bald eagle swooped down and began to play with one of the balls.

The bird of play hops around and starts to play with the ball nudging it across the green

After playing with the gold balls for a few seconds, the bird just flew off with the ball.
Mr Saletto at first thought the feathery visitor was a blessing but his demeanor quickly changed when the bird flew off with his ball.
